Who is it for: All Governors, Lead governors

Aims and objectives:

This session aims to give governors an understanding of the administration of SATs so that they can carry out their function to ensure that the KS2 testing is carried out according to the guidance by the Standards Testing Agency.

By the end of the session, you will:

• have a better understanding of their role before, during and after the KS2 testing week;
• You will know what questions to ask your senior leaders when visiting before, during and after the KS2 testing week;
• You will have a better understanding of the process during SATs week.
