Oldham Energy Futures is an ongoing project which was piloted in Westwood and Sholver by Carbon Co-op between 2020 and 2022:-
The project is focused on engaging residents in the energy and climate change agendas and is working with residents to create two community-led energy plans.
The Community Led Energy Planning approach will be key to Oldham’s Net Zero transition.
The Council is aiming to roll out the approach to the rest of the borough, as part of the Oldham Green New Deal Delivery Partnership initiative.
