Greater Manchester Bereavement Service can help to find support for anyone in Greater Manchester that has been bereaved or affected by a death, no matter how long ago. No one needs to feel alone as they deal with their grief.

Free, practical information and advice for when someone dies including what to do first, how to register a death, finding a funeral director, probate and other legal procedures.

NHS Oldham Talking Therapies

Free support and treatment if you're experiencing low mood, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, and sleep difficulties. This service is for people over the age of 16 years, who are registered with a GP in Oldham.

This service accepts self-referrals and referrals from your GP.
