If you are responsible for Council Tax on two furnished properties one of which is not your main home, you will be charged 100% Council Tax on your second home (i.e. the property that is not your main home).
If you are required to occupy such property as a condition of your employment (specified in your contract of employment), you may be entitled to a 50% discount.
This discount may also apply to members of the armed forces.
