---|---|
Blue bin |
Please wrap any shredded paper up inside a sheet of newspaper, or place in a cardboard box. This is to keep it contained within the blue bin and also helps during collection. If you have extra recycling, you should either take it to your local tip, or ask your neighbours if they have any extra space in their bins. Should you find that you often have extra recycling, you can order bigger recycling bins. |
Brown bin |
All items must be clean and empty of any food or drink If you have extra recycling, take it to your local tip or ask your neighbours if they have extra space in their bins. Should you find that you often have extra recycling, you can order bigger recycling bins. |
Green bin |
You may wish to use a compostable bag to line your indoor food caddy. These are available from over 100 stockists, including major supermarkets and public libraries across the borough. |
