2. Council Tax 2024/25
The total amount of Council Tax you pay is made up of a number of different amounts from different organisations.
These are:
- Oldham Council including additional Adult Social Care Precept
- Mayoral Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester
- Mayoral General Precept (including Fire Services)
- There are also two Parish Councils in the Oldham area that apply additional Council Tax charges, known as Parish Precepts. These are Saddleworth Parish Council and Shaw and Crompton Parish Council.
Please note that if you live in an area with a Parish Council, you will pay slightly more Council Tax, as shown in the table below.
