Council Early Help Team
- Closed from 5pm on Friday 22 December to Wednesday 27 December 2023
- Reopens Thursday 28 to Friday 29 December 2023
- Reopens fully at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024
Domestic violence
If you need to seek support for domestic abuse, please call the police on 101 or in an emergency call 999.
Advice and support is also available 24 hours a day from the National Domestic Violence Helpline on 0808 2000 247 (calls are free from landlines and major mobile phone networks).

Children's Centres and Family Hubs
The following centres will open on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 December 2023, 9am–4.30pm
- Medlock Vale

The following Centres will close on Friday 15 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024:

- Hollygrove
- Saddleworth West and Lees
The following Centres will close on Friday 22 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024:
- Werneth
- Royton
- Failsworth
- St James
- Coldhurst
- Saddleworth North and South
- Alexandra
- Hollinwood
For the closed sites, phones will be diverted to the open centres, midwifery clinics will run from the open sites, and notices will be on display with a range of contact numbers should families wish to get in touch with our service or emergency services such as social care.
