Description

OPAL is a registered charity which has been working to promote the voice, choice and independence of people living with learning disabilities in Oldham for 35 years. We believe in a society in which disabled people have the same rights and opportunities as everybody else. Through our day service, our advocacy service and our women's group, we help people to achieve more independence and to reach their full potential.

Day Service:

We named our day service "Your Day Your Way" as our members always guide us in deciding how to spend each day. This means that everyday is different, but our day service is always fun, friendly and a great place to learn new skills.

Women's Group:

A friendly, welcoming and safe space for women to socialise, have fun and learn new skills.
