Description

Our college is a member of the New Bridge Group, a growing family of innovative special schools and post 19 provision in Oldham.

At the College, our students are the driving force behind everything we do. Future Finders Employability College is a vibrant post-19 (19-25) campus geared towards providing inspirational training, teaching and learning to Supported Internship students, focusing on positive destinations, development of skills for adulthood, employment and further education or training. At the College, all of our students are at the heart and centre of everything we do. Our committed and dedicated staff members are continuously striving for excellence and this positive ethos has a genuine impact on the ambitions, aspirations and goals of our students. We inspire each one of our students to aim high and be the best they can be. As a result, we are extremely proud to say that studying at Future Finders Employability College gives our students the opportunity to transform their lives as we work, in collaboration with them, towards ‘creating meaningful futures’.

Our strategic intent and priorities, vision, mission and values drive our motivation to educate, support and guide our students to achieve the very best. To tribute each student’s starting point, career aspirations and personalised targets/goals, each student’s welfare, emotional regulation and personal development are important priorities alongside the attainment of employability qualifications and education.

Integral to our vision is creating an aspirational and sustainable continuum of provision for students, collaborating with other educational providers, voluntary organisations, community partners/employers, local business and industry to provide high quality, innovative and alternative vocational experiences for our students. We want all of our students to enjoy their time at College by studying on a Supported Internship programme which challenges them, increases their depth of knowledge and employability skillset, strengthens their resilience and prepares them well for the future. At Future Finders Employability College, this is done within a highly supportive, nurturing and friendly environment through creative and resourceful approaches (which support personalised learning), a highly ambitious curriculum, striving philosophies and inspiring activities… and more.

We are enormously proud of our College, the achievements of our students, the expertise, dedication and commitment of our staff family, our excellent facilities and our reputation for providing high quality training and education to young people and students from Oldham and its surrounding boroughs.
