We provide outdoor ramps, disabled toilets and flat surfaces in the outdoor environment for children who may have mobility difficulties. We also provide an outdoor sensory area.How do you involve children in outings and trips?

We have a very good working partnership with the AEN team and also the SALT team. We hold meetings and reviews within the nursery in a designated meeting area.How are you/staff trained in extra needs?
On settling in an 'All About Me' is completed with parents and their key worker. A baseline assessment is then completed and shared with parents and any other professionals working with the family. Upon leaving we work closely with schools to ensure a smooth transition.What is your policy on compliments, complaints, concerns?
On site we have two registered SENCo's, one of which is the manager who oversees all children's SEN needs. Key workers have meetings with the SENCo and the local AEN team.
