These sessions aim to bring together people with shared experiences to support each other and provide a space where they feel accepted and understood. Where everyone's experiences are equally important.
Peer support connects and provides a confidential place where mothers/carers can listen to each other without judgment. Through sharing and understanding, we create better wellbeing, increased self-esteem and confidence.
The groups are run by a peer volunteer from Zeal Empowerment who has lived experience of the SEND journey Each session will involve craft-making, self-care routines and other therapeutic activities to help you manage your own stress.
FREE refreshments will be provided and children of any age are welcome.
