Description

Seashell Trust Stay and Play takes place every Wednesday and is for babies and preschool children with complex or special needs. Families don't need to have received a formal diagnosis to join us.

Stay and Play is a friendly, informal group where you can have fun and support your child's learning through play. Each week we hold different activities to support your child's development in areas like:

  • Communication
  • Early exploration
  • Movement
  • Independence

There are plenty of toys, including sensory toys and nice comfy seats for parents! Your child can also try some messy play (without messing up your own home!).

It's an opportunity to meet and chat with other parents and carers and we've seen some lovely friendships made at Stay and Play.

You'll be supported by specialist staff who can drop in any time between 10.30am and 2.30pm. Tea and coffee are provided and please free to bring lunch.
