This service is for children, young people and families under the care of Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. People can be referred to the children and genetic ECLO via the hospital, sensory team or other external services. You can also make a self-referral

A Children's and Genetic Eye Clinic Liaison Officer (ECLO) works closely with medical staff within the hospital and the genetic eye clinics to provide a link with local council services, community services and adults, children, young people and families.
The children and genetic ECLO can help with a wide range of support for Manchester Royal Eye Hospital Patients such as answering questions about the registration process, referrals to support services, social activities, support within clinic, providing emotional support etc.
