3. The Lions Den
A covered seating area was donated to the park by Alderman Robinson, who was Mayor of Oldham between 1867 and 1868. Over the years the original structure suffered from corrosion.The impressive pavilion you see today, which copied the original design, was built for the re-opening of the park in 2004.
