Alexandra Park Trail

1. Emma the Flower Girl

A statue of Emma was probably in place when the park opened in 1865. The statue disappeared in the 1960s and the one you see today is a copy of the original by Andrew Sinclair. It was unveiled at the park’s re-opening in 2004.

What are your favourite flowers? If you see any flowers in the park please don’t pick them – leave them for others to enjoy!
