- Chadderton Amateur Swimming Club, a club which has been in existence for over 100 years, and whose main claim to fame is Henry Taylor, an Olympic Champion. In 2006 the club achieved Swim 21 status which is the recognised ‘Clubmark’ for swimming clubs, and ensures that the club has achieved, and must continue to meet, high standards in all areas.
