CICC gives young people a chance to have a say about the things that really matter in their lives. You get to meet new people and talk about what it’s like living in care and to share problems and similar issues Helps young people in Oldham shape and influence decisions that affect our lives HAF is a programme of funded activities during the school holidays aimed to get children who attend to eat more healthily and be more active during the school holidays Provides a wide range of drama and theatre related workshops (acting, improvisation, singing, dancing and design) for young people aged 6-25 At Mahdlo the possibilities are endless, from dunking hoops to dropping beats, climbing walls to cooking meals, performing arts to nail art. The Live at the Library autumn-winter season is full of fun, intrigue, and drama for all ages. Our Pass is a membership scheme for young people that can provide free bus travel across grater manchester and discounts, special offers, free tickets, swimming and leisure passes, merchandise, taster sessions.
Mental Health
Our counsellors can support you in making the necessary changes you feel comfortable with We support young people, aged from four until your eighteenth birthday, experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, such as worry and low mood Chat to our helpful team about anything that's on your mind. Employment and training
Get Oldham Working is a Council service that aims to help people find work and training opportunities. Free bus travel across Greater Manchester, for a one-off £10 fee, you can get you where you want to go, any day of the week. If you’re aged between 16 and 19 years and think you might struggle with the costs for full-time education or training, you may be eligible for a bursary Provides a wide range of options for for young people aged 16-25, with special circumstances or challenges
